Client: Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona (TMB)

Description: Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona (TMB) is the main public transport operator in Barcelona and several neighboring cities. L9 subway is the longest automatic metro line in Europe with 47,8 km and 54 stations (2014)

Aim: Provide a secure, reliable and flexible communication system to support station sub-systems: remote control and maintenance for station PLCs, CCTV over IP deployed in platforms and lobbies, CCTV over IP in subway, automatic fare collection, LAN, alarms and passenger information system.

Services: A best-of-breed IP network was designed, deployed and maintained in main and backup Operations Center (OC) and 54 stations, with 10Gbps links in Core network and 1Gbps in Access network, quality of service and security mechanisms.
