Established in 1942, Patentes Talgo (Talgo) is a world leader in the design, manufacturing and maintenance of rolling stock with three main business areas: design and manufacturing of trains; design and manufacturing of maintenance equipment; and the provision of maintenance services for railway operators around the world.

Trains: Very high speed trains and high speed trains, long distance, intercity, passenger coaches and locomotives.

Variable Gauge system: The TALGO RD system can be applied to railway vehicles that have to operate on lines with different track gauges (including high speed).

Maintenance equipments: Underfloor wheel lathes, shunting cars, EVA, DSR, EMO, manual gauge.

Maintenance services: Talgo has been the first designer and manufacturer of trains to offer an integral maintemance service for railway operators throughout the world.

Talgo has an environmental management system certified by AENOR in accordance with the requirements of the UNE-EN-ISO 14001, for the activities in their factories of Las Matas II (Madrid), and Rivabellosa (Alava), and also in the maintenance facilities of Fuencarral, Barcelona and Malaga.

Patentes Talgo has the following quality certifications:

- System Management I + D + I agree to UNE 166002:2006
