Activity
Impregna starts is activity in 1910 and is the first company in Spain creosoting wood sleepers for the railway sector.
The 100 years of experience of Impregna allowed us to develop the perfect knowledge of the efficiency and durability of the wooden sleepers treated with creosota and tanalith® E. The sleepers made by IMPREGNA are used in all the railways of Europe, Africa and Middle East.
Our wood become from certificated and controlled Europeans forests. After an appropriate selection of the bests wood of oak and pine (principally), Impregna can offers the best product for all the needs of the railway sector.

As well as the certifications of our quality system and our environmental commitment in accordance with the ISO 9001 and 14001, IMPREGNA has summit its treatment system to the technological centre certification CIDEMCO obtaining as well the warranty seal for our Tanalith process.
More, we can count with the PEFC certificate since 2008 which is a warranty for our permanent interest for the adequate management of the Forest exploitation.
We are member of national and international associations like ANEPROMA, WEI-IEO and ASTRAMA which allowed us to combine our experience with the constant evolution of the wood sector.
